Hilariousness!

Ok, so Thursday night, shell and I went up to Wichita to go see Narnia. The movie started at 5:45 and we left rather late and we couldn’t figure out how to get to the theatre. Sooooo, we ended up calling my dad like 5 or 6 times to get directions. We were still about 20 minutes away when the movie was starting so we decided to go see Pride and Prejudice instead because we both really wanted to see it and we had already seen Narnia and we knew that we were going to see it again before it left theatres (I’m seeing it in Tucson with my friend!!! Yayness!!!!![We are leaving in 2 days!!!!! Whoohoo!!!]). Sooooooooo, we finally get to the theatre and we realize that we could have gotten there so much easier and cut about 20 minutes off the time. Whatever.

Oh my gosh! there were these two guys at the concession stand when I went to go buy some candy and so I went up there to get some and they were DOING THE LEAN! So, one of them says "can I help you?' and I go "I'd like some hot tamales" and one shakes his head very slightly at the other than goes to the other side of the counter where they have more candy and go a pack of hot tamales and was like "you got the last box" and I said back "okay" but in my head I was like "they are so stupid to think that I would fall for this!! This is a super nice theatre and they don't run out of H.T. at 6:00 at night!" So then the guy that hadn't really talked at all rang them up ($3) and the other looked at me and said "that will be $5" and I looked at him and said "that or $3, whatever I choose" and he said back "well I tried" and I said "yah, you tried, but failed. sorry" and then I grabbed my H.T. and walked off. They were soooooo flirting!! It was hilarious!

Well, I have to go wrap the presents I have for people now!

Merry Christmas!!

La lalala la la...lala....la...l....a...**snores off with boredom**

So I am sitting in English with nothing to do and am completely bored. SHELL!!! WHAT DID YOU SAY TO MICAH???????? I know wh—wait….darn! Does this count as saying something to someone? It is a blog and you are like the only person I know that reads it besides the occasional Charlie. You have to call me and tell me what happened. I have been trying to get ahold of you for forever!!

Ok. Enough of that. So, I have been getting soooooo little sleep it’s not even funny. It completely sucks and I keep feeling like it’s Friday on Tuesday!! And this Friday and Saturday is the Nutcracker. We have practice on Friday at 4 and that could last MANY hours.

So, back to the whole bored-to-death-in-English-with-nothing-to-do. Ms. Carter has gone to Wichita with her English 12 AP class to go see “Pride and Prejudice”. LUCKYS!! It’s only playing at like one theatre in this area of Kansas! It’s not at our local theatre and it’s only playing at I think one theatre in Wichita. It sucks eggs.

Well, I think that I will now go and read my book. I’m reading All Creatures Great and Small and it’s actually a really good book. It’s about James Harriot (the author) and his veterinary experiences.

Goodbye all, and to all a good night! (Well, technically morning)

Dumbledore quote of the Week

"And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure."
-Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I love this quote!! It's one of my favorite Dumbledore quotes. But then, almost everything he does is my favorite. Yayness. **sighs in happiness then laughs at self** I'm such a dweeb.

Toodleums!

**bows head in complete and utter shame**

First, I must beg big-time forgiveness from Shell. I'm sorry-I couldn't post-I was EXTREMELY busy. I have not had a free weekend all December and I won't until Christmas. Ho hum.

Ok, so that Dreaded English Project that I pulled an all-nighter on-I got a 98%!! I was so excited because I worked EXTREMELY hard on it. And my cell project I got a 98% on too!! That's even harder to get a good grade on because Mr. Okesen hardly EVER gives out a good grade on that project.

OH...MY...GOSH. Narnia is AWESOME!!! I was a little disappointed though with some parts of it that I won't mention for the people who haven't seen it yet. No, I will. The one part when Peter, Susan, and Lucy follow Edmund to the witch's castle-NO!! And when the wolves surround them in the dam and they escape through a secret tunnel-NO!! And the whole thing about making Peter look weird when holding his sword. Even I who have never held a sword know that you don't hold it like that because that wolf totally cold have gotten in there and killed Peter without Peter even hurting him! And the really dumb line "We've come to see Aslan" and he's holding the sword. And the fact that it doesn't show the fear the children have about meeting Aslan. But the movie was awesome. My family and some friends and I all went up to Wichita on Friday (opening night) and saw it on the EXTREMELY big screen. We were there an hour ahead of time and BARELY got good seats. This blog seems EXTREMELY boring. And I have the word EXTREMELY in here a lot. Hmmmmmmmm-ness. Well, there's really nothing exciting going on in my my life as of now.

Except....

I'M GOING BACK TO TUCSON IN 13 OR 14 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOHOOO!!!!!!

I can hardly wait!!!! I miss everyone there sooooo much! I haven't seen any of them except the Cooney's in over 2 years!! And the one year I went to public school there was one of the best years of my life and I miss it so much. **sighs in longing**

Well, I really hope you didn't drool on the keyboard in complete and utter boredom as you read this.

Until next we meet,

Carol

Random Elvish Quote of the Minute

Labo vi Orodruin
Lah-boe vee Ore-oh-DROO-inn
Go jump in Mount Doom

That is my REQotM. Ok, so on Friday, I worked on the Dreaded English Project. On Saturday, I worked on the DEP. On Sunday, I worked on the DEP from 11 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon. At 5:30 I had to go babysit ($25 buckeronials--yayness!). An 9:30, I started again. I worked from then to 6:45 in the morning!!! I got no sleep at all. Shell, I don't think you've had to do that yet! I wouldn't of even finished if my mom hadn't helped me. I even took it to school and had to finish putting on the captions for the pics and put it all together in Seminar!!! Let me just say, I was rather tired come Keyboarding (my last hour of the day[for an HOUR AND A HALF!]).

Ok, enough of that. I am sooooooo excited!! I got my class ring today! It looks really cool. On one side, it has "Carol" and a cross and a candle and a Bible, and in the other side it had "2008" and the Fine Arts symbol (a harp and the happy mask). It has a blue stone. Really cool.

Oh! you should REALLY check out the Lord of the Rings fanfiction (up in the links[if I can figure it out]). I'm the "editor". It's a really cool story.

Well, I should really go work on the cell model I have due tomorrow. I have cut out the nucleus/nucleolus out of a styrofoam ball and a couple of chloroplasts sculpted from that green foamie-type block.

Goodbye!

And really bad eggs...

Oh man....I have that song stuck in my head since thanksgiving and it won't come out! fyi-"and really bad eggs" is part of "A pirate's life for me" from Pirates of the Caribbean just in case you didn't figure it out. That is an awesome movie. And this blog is completely random, kinda like me sometimes! Ok, you might be wondering why it's called "Delusional Mutterings of the Helplessly Insane". Basically, my friend Shell and I came up with it last night. Right before I watched RotK. I LOVE LOTR! IT'S THE BEST!! And Harry Potter. HARRY ROCKS! Shell is probably at this very second watching HP4. Lucky. I've only seen it once. Bummer. Well, I have to go now and work on my Holocaust Scrapbook (for English). Whoopee.
